So… care to comment?

Often when you want a new look to your site you go searching through what’s out there. While duplication if the sincerest form of flattery, it the Net world I am not sure it always applies. But lets face it there is not a lot of variety these days as most involves Flash or some type of plugin that the user does not have, the current version of their browser does not support, or is not mobile friendly and the list continues. Still we want that new fresh look, take in many templates even that we can modify and hopefully achieve something we are happy with for….about that long. That said this article shows of 30 pretty cool navigation designs. Some are better than others. It takes you straight to the site, no code that I found so you are on your own in that respect. I didn’t look at all 30, but the ones I liked that I did visit C-Roots, Into the Artic, ELI, Media Arts Lawyers, Fearon Hay Architects and Black Estate.

Some of these reminded me that simplicity is important, others that perhaps it can all be one long page, perhaps wide, as long as there is a way to get back home from any point. Its a nice journey to get the creative juices flowing. The only major issue I have is with the article site. Why do you not open a new tab when you click on one of the examples? I closed the first site you sent me to, then spent five minutes looking for the link to the article again.
