Authoring is writing “stuff”. Stuff includes, for teachers, lessons plans, presentations, course outlines and more. There are certain formats at times that need to be adhered to. Also gathering of data to then present in some formal coherent format is always a challenge, even for the experienced. As always the main criteria is that the tool be free, hopefully at the higher high level. More and more of the tools I have found have a “pro” version, which costs money. The “pro” version often has more features and while great not always worth the money. Reviews of these are coming. Feel free to comment, suggest or show examples if you have them.
